Fandom is making me unhappy. As a result, it's been leading me to act sort of awful. I'd like to apologize to anyone who has noticed me acting a little (or a lot) off lately, as well as anyone who I've said anything horrid to. I'm still thinking things over so I'll probably be a bit quiet, though I'm thinking about participating in mundane_bingo because of the low minimum word count involved and my desire to get back into the swing of fiction writing.

In the meantime, I'm going to be a little needy and link to my thread here. I'd also like to know how everyone is doing in the comments here. Tell me one thing that's made you happy recently, and I'll try to reciprocate.

Yes, Jube and I made Tinfeebles! Those were the days. I was really proud of the Merry/Eowyn community Tinsaddles as well.

Things that made me happy... hm... not many, sadly. But I get a lot out of playing Final Fantasy 12 (I'm sure I've mentioned that already, sorry for the spam).

I plan on baking waffles today if my energy allows for it, that would make me happy as well.

Heya, glad you're back! If you're not up for this, that's fine, but I'd love to Skype with you sometime in the near future - both just to catch up (I started forgetting to sign onto any messengers let alone stay on top of DW during my more severe days of tumblr addiction, and it's been a while!), and because, well. I sometimes (often) feel the journal format can make it tough to talk out differing POVs without a lot of weirdness building up between comment replies, and I always really enjoy hearing all the nuances and depths to your opinions even when I'm not 100% on the same page. IDK!!! I was just thinking about how cold and convoluting blog comments can be, how hard they can make it to really get into the meat of things, even while I was getting kiiinda reactive myself in certain fandom discussions. Yeah.

I would loooove to see mundane_bingo fic from you, BTW! I think you could do really fun, absorbing, human things with those prompts.

I'm really sorry fandom is making you unhappy. I've been there with fandoms before and it's just...incredibly unpleasant. FWIW coming from someone who hasn't interacted with you all that much, I haven't noticed you acting awful towards anyone.

*pounces gently* You're back! I thought you'd vanished, but gloss told me otherwise. I've been gone myself (health problems), so I'm glad we've reappeared around the same time.

I hope so very much you're in a better frame of mind, and that fandom doesn't drive you too nuts. It's a crazy place, and I try to stay away from most of it.

One thing that's made me happy, hmn. Aside from your reappearance, oddly enough (and you can laugh at me if you want to) I've fallen in love with seasons four and five of The Batman, specifically the show's iteration of Dick Grayson. Presently, he's making me very, very happy. XD
